My Dumb Barge > Smart Infrastructure proposal was a finalist in the 2014 GLA Low Carbon Entrepreneur Awards. I headed down to the council chamber at City Hall to pitch the idea to the panel of dragons including Deborah Meaden and Zac Goldsmith MP.
A couple of tense weeks later I attended the awards ceremony at Siemens Crystal where Mayor of London Boris Johnson handed out the awards. The proposal ultimately came third behind Crowd Power Plant and Solar Box who shared the £20,000 prize fund.
