Elmfield Way

Tree lined moorings between Westbourne Park and Little Venice

A small strip of waste ground on the offside of the canal will be landscaped to provide 11 new moorings surrounded by trees.

London Waterways Projects will seek to improve site and the outlook for the adjoining hospital as well as maintaining the natural setting of the moorings themselves.

The moorings would suit people with a local connections or green-fingered people who can turn their hands to transforming the site into a more beautiful place. Because of the adjacency to the hospital the site people would suit people looking for a peaceful home mooring. Mooring holders would be expected to act with due consideration to the hospital at all times.

Moorings will generally include services (power, water) and will be priced affordably based on development and operational costs – final costs and details of facilities at this site are TBC subject to construction tendering.
