Harrow Road

Transforming unloved open space into a community park and affordable moorings.

London Waterways Projects are working with Queens Park Community Council to transform a small open space between the Harrow Road and the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal. Through the creation of moorings we will be able to fund improvements and local management of the space turning it into a valuable green space for the local community.

The moorings will be aimed at people who have a connection to the local area and green fingered people who are keen to play a role in maintaining and developing the community green space adjacent to the moorings.

The site is currently in the early stages of development working in partnership with London Borough of Westminster and QPCC. We hope to be able to progress planning works on the site through 2017 and would hope to be able to undertake works in 2018.

How to apply

Moorings applications have a standard form requesting details about you and your boat. Applications will be reviewed with local partners in line with site objectives and may also involve a face to face conversation with short-listed applicants. For more information and to fill out an application form please see the Moorings Application page.
