Paddington Basin Floating Park

London’s first floating park in Paddington Basin at the heart of Merchant Square is possibly the most luxurious trade boat mooring on the canal network. The park has space for two boats to moor with adjacent covered seating, surrounded by planting designed by Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) gold medalist Tony Woods.

London Waterways Projects have partnered with Merchant Square to enable trading boats to make use of the moorings on the park as part of our commitment to supporting Roving Traders, and to encourage a diverse range of commercial uses of the waterways.

If you operate a trading boat and want to trade from the site, or are interested in using the mooring for an event, please get in touch using the email address below and we’ll be happy to see what we can do!

Bookings:

Booking a mooring at one of our trade berths is typically a flat fee of £20+VAT per day to cover admin overheads, though if you operate a not for profit or other community focused business we will consider reducing or in some cases waiving the admin fees to support you.

Moorings are usually bookable from one day through to a maximum of two weeks per booking. However if you are interested in a longer stay at any site or are interesting in making use of a site for a corporate event, please get in touch and we’ll work with you to try to accommodate your needs.

To book a spot please send an email to Trade@LondonWaterwaysProjects.co.uk, listing the sites and dates you are interested in and a brief description of your boat and business.

We can’t wait to hear from you!
